The first returns on All-Star ballots were announced by the NBA today. And guess who was missing from the list? Your Golden State Warriors.
For as much complaining as Warriors fans do about their players being All-Star snubs, they seem to refuse to vote. It would be different if Golden State fans didn’t put much stock into All-Star selections. That would be noble and the lack of voting excused. But that’s not the case.
Every year, Warriors fans gripe about a player of theirs being overlooked. From Jason Richardson to Baron Davis to Monta Ellis. They’re always crying bias when the Warriors’ best player isn’t selected. But the complaining doesn’t lead to voting.
